The Independent Voice of Bulk Power System Reliability in the Western Interconnection

WECC exists to ensure the reliability and security of the Bulk Power System in the Western Interconnection. As the Regional Entity responsible for reliability planning and assessments, WECC is uniquely positioned to offer an independent, interconnection-wide perspective. We work with utilities and the owners and operators of generating resources and transmission to collect and assess information related to the load and resources available now and into the future. This landing page provides access to that information in one place, providing resources to help our stakeholders learn more about the risks to reliability in order to effectively mitigate those risks and ensure resource adequacy throughout the interconnection.
